Research Interests
We are studying nanomaterials and nanoelectronics based on a synergistic combination of molecular chemistry and low-dimensional inorganic materials. Our research spans the interdisciplinary fields of chemistry, materials science, physics, electronics and fluidics engineering. We believe that conducting hybrid research in multiple fields will realize game-changing materials and devices.
Especially, our target is the interface of materials, which is crucial in developing devices and electronic/quantum functionalities. Our quest is to discover a new molecular-inorganic interface system that changes the conventional functionality or property in inorganic materials and devices. Our research group stands in interdisciplinary fields in chemistry, materials science, electronics, and quantum physics.
Combining unique ideas from various research fields is the key to future development. We are looking for motivated students and postdoctoral fellows to join our team. Please let us know if you are interested in our team. We welcome all research fields of chemistry, materials science, electrical engineering, quantum physics and devices.
