The application process is conducted online.

Once you access the online system, you will be asked to provide your personal information as shown above.
After you submit, you will receive an email from peak-ao.sending.adm [at] gs.mail.u-tokyo.ac.jp. We kindly ask you to check your email setting in advance to see if you can receive an email from this address. We cannot answer any technical question regarding this matter.
If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder.
Please set your password by following the instructions in the email.
We strongly ask you to remember your email address and password. Your access to our online application system will be disabled after you mistake your password for a few times.
In the online application system, you will be asked to register your referees' information. Once you save the information on the system, referees will receive email to fill in your evaluations.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that you should contact your referees once you register the information to make sure that they receive the email.
After you register, they will receive an email from peak-ao.sending2.adm [at] gs.mail.u-tokyo.ac.jp. You should ask referees to check their email setting in advance to see if they can receive an email from this address. We cannot answer any technical question regarding this matter.

Please note that unless referees complete and submit your evaluations, you are not allowed to submit your application.
Essentially, we cannot accept any delay in submitting your online application. It is expected that the online system will be busy before the deadline. We strongly ask you to submit your application well in advance of the deadline.
Payment of the Application Fee (Updated on November 27th)
Payment Period: December 1, 2020 to January 7, 2021 (Japan Standard Time)
Method of Payment
The application fee can be paid by online credit card payment. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please contact the PEAK Undergraduate Admissions Office by December 20, 2020.
- There will be a transaction fee of JPY500 charged in addition to the JPY5,000 application fee.
- It is possible to use a credit card registered with a third person, such as a parent or a guardian. However, make sure that the applicant’s name is typed in the “basic information” page on the payment website.
- Please keep the “Receipt Number”. You will be required to input it when you submit application.
